Retropie Neo Geo Roms Not Working

I'm having trouble getting 4 games working for Neo Geo (Pulstar, Soccer Brawl, Street Hoop, and Super Dodge Ball) on my Raspberry Pi 3. I have about 20 other Neo Geo games working perfect. I already have the bios file and I have tried about 12 different rom sites trying to find a rom that will work.

  1. I found this to be the case for around 50% of my Neo Geo ROM’s. If the game fails to start then it’s a good idea to try another emulator. To try another emulator all you have to do is press the correct button on the controller when the game is loading up, right after you selected it.
  2. I can play some emulators almost perfect (many nes, genesis, fba, pca emulators), but i havent managed to play any neo geo roms. I have put both fba and neogeo roms in the same roms/fba folder along with the neogeo.zip. Only black screen appears. I know i have to change smth but i need instructions. Can someone help?
  3. I am able to run other Atomiswave roms with.bin +.lst extensions using lr-flycast but Neo-Geo Battle Coliseum doesn't work for some reason. Copy link Collaborator.
  4. Also, I was happy to find that as long as I unzipped my roms I was able to get slighter better performance from the games by trying some of the other built 64 emulators! This gives me high hopes for the state of emulation on the Pi4!

    Im trying to have Neo Geo games separated from mame games, and I found some issues:

    -I have GnGeo fully working with ps3 controllers, but the fullscreen mode is not working. I tried -f in code, and the gngeorc file has fullscreen true and scale 2×50 effect.

    -FBA works well but ps3 controllers don’t have DPAD support, and playing some games with analog controls sucks.

    -Imame4all works well too with Neo Geo games (if the games are in MAME directory), but if I copy the code “COMMAND=/home/pi/RetroPie/emulators/RetroArch/installdir/bin/retroarch -L /home/pi/RetroPie/emulatorcores/imame4all-libretro/libretro.so –config /home/pi/RetroPie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg –appendconfig /home/pi/RetroPie/configs/mame/retroarch.cfg %ROM%” to the Neo Geo command line, it runs retroarch menu.

    Someone can help me??

We test the cards thoroughly before shipment, but it’s always possible that the cards get damaged during shipment, if they get exposed to excessive temperatures. If you receive a card that does not work for some reason, please get in touch within 24 hours of receiving your order, and we will work out a replacement for you. We don’t accept complaints after that period. We are not responsible if the card gets damaged with use. We always recommend our customers to make a backup of the microSD on your computer, so if something happens, you can restore it and keep playing.
